Review Methodology
The standards we use to evaluate tools and publish recommendations.
Evaluation factors
- Use-case fit: whether the product solves a specific business problem.
- Output quality: accuracy, consistency, control, and required human review.
- Usability: onboarding, documentation, workflow design, and accessibility.
- Integration and control: APIs, connectors, export options, privacy, and governance.
- Value: current pricing, usage limits, total operating cost, and viable alternatives.
Evidence standard
We prioritize official product documentation, pricing pages, release notes, and original research. A page must not claim hands-on testing unless the reviewed version, date, scenario, and observable result are documented on that page.
Ratings and updates
Ratings are editorial decision aids, not laboratory scores. Volatile fields—models, prices, limits, and integrations—are checked during scheduled reviews and whenever a material release is announced. A visible “last updated” date changes only after a meaningful content review.
Commercial relationships
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. Commercial relationships do not buy placement or scores. Sponsored content, if introduced, will be labeled separately and will not be presented as an independent review.
